Pitch Marketing have teamed up with McDelivery and Uber eats on a quest to help 2006 World Cup winner Andrea Pirlo find an alternative team to support due to Italy failing to qualify for this years tournament in Russia for the first time since 1958.

The campaign has been promoted across social media ahead of the biggest football tournament taking off from today.

The promo film enlists the help of ex footballers such as Cafu – Brazil,Marcel Desailly– France,Luis Hernandez – Mexico,Harry Kewell – Australia, Mashario Fukuda – Japan,Alexandre Guimaraes – Costa Rica,Jared Borgetti – Mexico and Rui Patricio from Portugal attempting to persuade Pirlo to choose their team to follow throughout the tournament.

The feature opens with the interviewer asking of Italy’s chances at this years World Cup with a bewildered Pirlo storming off.

The fun filled campaign ends with the interviewer and Andrea Pirlo ordering a McDelivery through Uber Eats. Mcdonalds are a partner of the Fifa World Cup.
